As a main dedusting technology, bag filter is widely used in metallurgy, casting, building materials, electric power, cement, steel, chemical industry, carbon, smelting and other units. Due to the high efficiency of bag dust collector, which can meet the extremely strict emission standards, it is widely valued by developed countries. Bag filter and related technologies have also been greatly developed and applied. 80% of waste gas in German cement industry is purified by bag filter, which makes the loss of cement dust less than 0.05% of its output. Some traditional positions of ESP, such as rotary kiln tail and cooler, have also been transformed into large bag type precipitators. The reason is that although the operation cost of the bag filter is higher than that of the electrostatic precipitator, its equipment cost is often only half of that of the electrostatic precipitator, and more importantly, the discharge concentration of the electrostatic precipitator is difficult to reach 50mg / m3. In many developed countries, such as the United States, Canada and Australia, bag type dust collectors are also widely used to replace electric dust collectors. For example, 18 of the 20 coal-fired units in New South Wales, Australia, have adopted bag type dust collectors with a total installed capacity of more than 10000 MW, which greatly reduces the dust emission of power plants. Due to the limitation of economic and technological conditions and some conceptual reasons, the bag dust removal technology in these fields has not been greatly developed since the reform and opening up, China's cement industry has made great progress.

According to the statistics at the end of 2005, there are 8435 cement production units in China, with an annual production capacity of 590 million tons. The dust emitted by the cement industry has exceeded 10 million tons, ranking first in China. Among them, the output of shaft kiln cement accounts for 80%, the emission of dust accounts for more than 90%, and the loss of dust accounts for 3.5% of the output. It not only seriously pollutes the environment, but also wastes a lot of raw materials and products. With the deepening of the national environmental protection policy, the majority of shaft kiln cement plants urgently need mature and reliable smoke and dust removal technology; in addition, in the cement production process, with the development of vertical mill, extrusion mill, high-efficiency powder concentrator and other grinding technology, the new high-yield and energy-saving grinding system is applied, and new requirements are put forward for the dust removal technology as a product collection function.

In the shaft kiln cement plant, the bag dedusting technology has made great progress in more than ten years. Many advanced dedusting technologies, such as the high concentration bag filter, the centralized dedusting system, including the environmental protection problems of the shaft kiln cement plant in the past, the bag filter of the shaft kiln and the bag filter of the dryer, have been solved. Bag filter technology is widely used in shaft kiln, dryer, crusher, mill, high-efficiency powder concentrator, conveyor belt, silo, silo top, silo bottom and packaging system. The bag dedusting technology of the vertical kiln cement plant has strong pertinence. There are special dedusting technologies for the vertical kiln and the dryer, for the mill, and for the local dust source. At present, all kinds of cement production units and cement dust points are using bag type dust collectors to collect and control dust, so as to achieve dust removal effect and environmental protection requirements.
