The cyclone dust collector is one of the most common dry dust removal devices in industry. It is usually combined with spray towers or bag-type dust collectors to form an "pre-treatment + fine purification" waste gas treatment system.

I. Main Structure

1. The equipment is composed of a cylindrical body and a conical body. The entire structure is made of carbon steel and welded, and then coated with anti-corrosion paint.

2. The inlet on the tangent direction is a conical bottom, which serves as a dust collection bin, and is connected below by a discharger.

II. Core Working Principle

1. The dusty gas enters the cylinder at a high speed along the tangential direction and then performs a spiral rotational movement along the cylinder wall, generating a strong centrifugal force.

2. The heavier dust particles are thrown towards the cylinder wall and fall along the wall into the bottom ash hopper, achieving solid-gas separation.

3. The purified gas then forms an upwardly rotating airflow at the center of the cylinder and is discharged through the central exhaust pipe.

III. Key Features

1. Simple structure: No moving parts, low failure rate, and extremely low maintenance cost.

2. Strong processing capability: It can handle high-concentration and large-particle dust. It is often used as the primary pre-treatment equipment for waste gas treatment, removing most of the coarse particles first to reduce the load on subsequent bag-type dust collectors and spray towers.

3. Limitations: The removal efficiency for fine dust (especially those smaller than 10μm) is limited. It is usually not used alone as a terminal dust removal device.
