Treatment of organic waste gas

First, adsorption treatment
(1) Direct adsorption: organic waste gas is directly absorbed by activated carbon, which can reach a purification rate of more than 95%. The advantage is that the equipment is simple and the investment is small, but the activated carbon is replaced frequently, and the working procedures such as loading and unloading, transportation, and replacement are increased, which will increase the operating cost and is not suitable for the environment with high humidity. However, in terms of market applications, activated carbon adsorption is the most commonly used technology.
(2) Adsorption-recovery: The use of fiber activated carbon adsorption of organic waste gas, close to saturation with superheated water vapor back blowing, desorption regeneration, this method requires to provide the necessary amount of steam. The use of activated carbon fiber is more expensive, but the effect is also significant.
Second, absorption and governance
This method generally adopts physical absorption technology, as the name suggests, the exhaust gas is introduced into the absorption liquid for purification, and after the absorption liquid is saturated, it is heated, analyzed, condensed and recovered. This method is suitable for large gas volume, low temperature and low concentration of waste gas, but it needs to be equipped with a heating analysis recovery device, which is large in volume and high in investment.
Third, thermal combustion control
The principle is to oxidize the combustible waste gas into the corresponding oxide and water at high temperature, so as to purify the waste gas, and recover the heat released when the waste gas is decomposed, the waste gas decomposition efficiency reaches more than 99%, and the heat recovery efficiency reaches more than 95%.
The advantages of thermal combustion treatment method are high purification rate, great flexibility in the treatment of organic waste gas flow, and almost all organic compounds containing waste gas and large air volume, low concentration of organic waste gas, the disadvantage is that the investment cost is relatively high, and can not completely purify the organic matter containing sulfur, nitrogen and halogen, in general, these four organic waste gas treatment methods have advantages and disadvantages. When each industry carries out waste gas treatment, it should be combined with its own actual situation and reasonably choose the most suitable waste gas treatment method.
Fourth, catalytic combustion control
The method is mainly to heat the waste gas and convert it into harmless odorless carbon dioxide and water through catalytic combustion. The catalytic combustion method has low ignition temperature, energy saving, high purification rate, convenient operation, small footprint and large investment, and is suitable for high temperature or high concentration of organic waste gas.
